* A faith community that cares more about you and your family than the clothes you wear,
* A family-friendly church where it's okay to wiggle if you're a kid,
* A church that teaches a simple faith of salvation through Jesus Christ and provides the way for a more meaningful daily walk as a Christ-follower,
* A church experience that's personal and practical, not pushy ....
THEN WE JUST MIGHT BE THE CHURCH FOR YOU!
Don't worry about dressing up, not knowing anyone, trying to be perfect, or inadvertently saying the wrong thing. There are no requirements for coming to worship at Twin Falls First Presbyterian Church. We would love to have you show up, meet some new folks, and worship with us.
To help with your planning, here is some information you may find helpful:
Location: First Presbyterian Church is located at 209 Fifth Avenue North, Twin Falls, Idaho. We are one block west of Shoshone Street, behind the Twin Falls County Courthouse - at the corner of 5th Avenue North and Gooding Streets. Click here for a map.
Sunday Morning Worship Service: Worship happens every Sunday morning at 10:00 a.m. in the sanctuary, which is located on the 2nd Floor of the pale brick section of our facility on the corner of 5th and Gooding Streets.
Parking: Please park in either the lot on the corner of 5th and Gooding that is across the street from the entry doors to the pale brick portion of our facility, or park behind the Twin Falls County Courthouse. Limited on-street parking may be found on the block surrounding the church as well.
Children Are Welcome:
We offer Sunday School classes for children Kindergarten through 5th Grade each Sunday, except the first Sunday of the month. Sunday Schoolers attend the first portion of Sunday Worship in the sanctuary with their families until Children's Time. Following Children's Time, teachers escort the children to the Christian Ed wing of the building for Sunday School. The first Sunday of each month is Communion Sunday; we keep all generations of our church family together to observe the Lord's Supper together. Open Communion: The first Sunday of each month is Communion Sunday at First Presbyterian Church. We practice what is called "open communion" - meaning the Lord's Supper is open to all who have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. This also applies to visitors.
Social Hour Following Worship: Join us downstairs from the Sanctuary in the 1st Floor Fellowship Room for coffee, tea, juice, light refreshments, and conversation each week after Sunday Worship. Our church community loves this relaxed window of time to become better acquainted with one another.
